Hussain Faisal (Faito) signs an agreement with Victory Sports Club for the upcoming football season.

Faito, 23, a skilful player from Lh. Naifaru, who represented Maldives National Team at age level competitions, had some spells with Club Valencia and Club Eagles will play in the second division in this year’s football season. 

In youth level Faito played for Eagles as well, but his majority success was in the colours of Valencia. Faito won second division tournament, FA Cup and President Cup with Valencia. He also represented Maldives U23 Football Team in Asian Qualifiers and played in U19 SAFF Championship.

Victory is making every effort count in their preparation for the upcoming football season. One of the most successful football clubs in the Maldives, Victory had signed National Team Captain, Akram Abdul Ghani (Aku) and experienced midfielder Mohamed Umair for upcoming season. This year, Victory will compete in the second division as well as in the FA Cup, will be coached by one of their most decorated player, Sobah Mohamed (Soba).

Victory is in negotiation with a couple of more players in their surge to improve the squad strength for the season ahead.
