Victory SC ends the group stage with a 100 percent record!
Victory Sports Club has ended the group stage matches of the FAM MPL 2nd Division Football Tournament.
Victory SC’s final game was against Bis Buru Sports Club, the game was forfeited, after Bis Buru SC couldn’t attend the game. So, as per the competition rules, Victory SC will be given three points.
This is the second time a match has been forfeited in this season’s 2nd Division Football Tournament. Previously, Club Teenage forfeited a match against New Radiant Sports Club, and later Teenage was handed a fine of 30,000 MVR.
In Group C, the first place team. Victory SC won all four games and got 12 points. In the second place, Lagoons Sports Club has six points from three games. Club PK, is in the third position with six points from four games.
Fourth place, Lorenzo Sports Club, played three games and won three points. Bis Buru, at the bottom without a single point. This group will be concluded after Lagoons SC takes on Lorenzo, which is vital to fill up the remaining positions in the quarter-finals of the competition.
