Umair bags a hatrick as Victory SC sinks Lorenzo
Mohamed Umair socred a hatrick for Victory Sports Club as they sink Lorenzo Sports Club by 8-0 to maintain perfect start in FAM MPL 2nd Division tournament.
Victory SC scored five goals in the first half, two of them were scored by Man Of the Match, Umair. Who enjoyed a hatrick for the Red after more than a decade.
In a game which was played in the rain, in 10th minute Umair scored a header after he met a corner from Kyrgysztan midfielder, Anatoly Vlasichev.
Belarusian forward, Ivan Veras scored two goals for Victory SC. One was a well taken header, the other one was a low shot from inside the area.
Farukh Khaydarov scored Victory SC’s fourth goal. His strike from 40 yards found top corner. Before the break Umair found a free space inside Lorenzo SC’s area, he scored Victory SC’s fifth.
Umair, took the captain armband from Akram Abdul Ghani, in the second half. Soon. after the restart, Umair scored a header inside six minutes and completed his hatrick.
In 67th minute, substitute Ibrahim Rizhaan headed home, Moosa Yaamin’s cross to score Victory SC’s seventh goal in the game. In the final minute of the game, Anatoly scored Victory SC’s eighth goal from a direct corner.
Victory SC currently sits in the top of Group C standings. Coach Sobah Mohamed’s side won both games, and ended both with a cleansheet.
Victory SC’s third game will be against Lagoons Sports Club, which is scheduled for 22nd January 2024.
