In Group C, Victory SC and Lagoons SC, both won first two games and are tied with six points each, Victory taking the top spot by goal difference.

Victory SC defeated Club PK by 3-0 and followed by a commanding win against Lorenzo Sports Club by 8-0. Lagoons SC, led by a former Victory SC Coach, Mohamed Shazly, started the competition by defeating Club PK by 3-0. Lagoons SC won the second game against. Lagoons won the second game against Bis Buru Sports Club by 5-0.

Lagoons SC and Victory SC are yet to concede a goal in this year’s competition.

Victory SC’s coach Sobah Mohamed (Soba) will face a real battle against Lagoons SC, as they are also one of the high performing team in the competition.

This match will be a classic, when it comes to historical perspective. Both teams have previously faced each other in the top tier of Maldives in 90s.

Lagoons SC led by former Victory SC star, Ashad Ali (Adey) and Victory SC will be relentlessly depending on their leading players like Akram Abdul Ghani (Aku) and Mohamed Umair - Umair have scored a hatrick in the previous game.
